31 Clarendon Square, Leamington Spa

In 1851, Sarah Howcutt (aged 21) was a housemaid living at this property, which is the house pictured immediately to the left of the tree. She was one of the six resident servants working there for Rev William Wright, who was accompanied by his wife, three young children and a tutor. Rev Wright was Principal of Leamington College and the property also housed a total of 19 boys aged 10 to 16.
